Clevis Pins are measured from under the head to the end of the pin. The grip length of the pin can be calculated by taking the length and subtracting the HC (Hole Centre) and half of the hole diameter.
For Example:
Clevis Pin diameter 4mm x

12mm Grip Length = 8.9mm
